Dr. Donald C. Shingler is the founder of Smile Art Center and he has found his calling in the field of cosmetic dentistry.  His advanced studies have included the prestigious Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and Las Vegas Institute. 

In 1995 Dr. Shingler contributed greatly to his profession when he published the Blue Book - OTC and Rx Reference.  This pharmaceutical reference book elevated the level of patient care in the United States and created a new category in dental publishing.  He has also authored an American Dental Association approved continuing education course for dentists.  Ever civic-minded, Dr. Shingler is the creator of community initiatives Benefit Cleveland, Cleveland Now, Cleveland Retail Commission, and Fashion Week Cleveland.

Dr. Shingler is a graduate of Delta College, the Ohio State University, and
Case Western Reserve University.  After completing Officer Training School he was assigned
to the 910th Airlift Wing where he serves as an officer in the United States Air Force.
